Moorhead High School returns to Expo
By Jenny EricksonIn standard30th August, 2016On behalf of over 400 Moorhead High School 9th grade students and 15-20 staff we want to thank you for a well-conceived and well-orchestrated Career Expo. It was extremely well organized from our arrival until our departure.
Staff who have attended previous Career Expo’s remarked at how much it has grown and how much it has changed in its scope and dynamic that involves students in hands on experience. From my observation it was interesting to watch students warm to the environment – at first they were in awe and reticent but with time they started to interact and engage the exhibitors. A quick scan of their feedback reveals how they relished different elements of involvement. Short discussions with the students reinforced the belief that they found the experience to be rewarding. It was also interesting to observe the different levels of intellectual interaction that occur. Where I am going is that a student could take away great deal of knowledge at a variety of “levels.”
